SEMA Show Hosts Collision Repair Professionals
This year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas will feature the Collision Repair and Refinish Stage, located in the Upper South Hall. The stage will host a series of educational sessions from November 4 to 7, aiming to inform attendees about the latest trends and practices in the collision repair industry. Organizations like the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) and I-CAR are leading the discussions, promising an engaging and informative experience for industry professionals.
Sessions Designed for Industry Growth
With eight scheduled presentations from SCRS, the sessions will cover a variety of essential topics ranging from personnel management to OEM certifications. Andrew Batenhorst, chair of the SCRS Education Committee, emphasizes the importance of addressing often-overlooked subjects that have emerged in the last year. The relaxed atmosphere fosters a collaborative space where both newcomers and seasoned professionals can learn and exchange ideas.
Highlighting Diversity in Collision Repair
One of the standout sessions this year is the “SCRS/Women in Collision” panel, which aims to highlight the unique experiences of women in a predominantly male industry. This all-female panel will showcase a range of perspectives, offering insights that could inspire the next generation of female leaders in collision repair.
